Containment Booms are an impervious barrier designed to deflect or contain spills or floating debris and can be used on most water bodies including harbours, rivers, ponds, dams and other open waterways.
Description
- Our containment booms include a closed cell foam flotation chamber wrapped in a heavy-duty geo-membrane that has a continuous skirt below the surface.
- Chain ballast and ASTM 4962 Z connectors allow multiple units to be securely connected to form a continuous barrier.
- Suitable for use in rough waters.
- Can be deployed for short or long periods
- High visibility, UV stabilised PVC with load strapping across the top of floats for extra strength.
- Available in two standard sizes and custom sizing.
- Package includes containment boom plus towing set and anchoring set
- Dimensions: 450mm high (150mm free board and 300mm draft) x 15m Lengths
- Material: 900gsm UV Stablised PVC
- Floatation Media: Closed Cell Foam
